Maths Pathway students have a single login to their own Student Portal that gives them access to all of their learning content. This login is where they can complete their diagnostic, find their module worksheets, complete the online portion of their tests, view their test results, and see their growth, effort, and accuracy scores.
Each class has a page where students can log in by clicking on their own personal icon.
The timeline is a student's 'home' page. From here, students can complete diagnostics, access their work, find out when their next test will be, look over old results, and more. When they log in, the 'header' at the top of the timeline gives the student information about their current Learning Cycle. Below the header is the timeline itself. For each cycle, students will be assigned a certain amount of work, which will be visualised with the circles present on the timeline.
Based on the appearance of their timeline, students will always know what they need to move on to next. In the above example, the student (Alexander) is part of the way through an activity (in this case, a module called 'Ordering Numbers') and can continue it by clicking on the button.
Student Learning Map
The Learning Map is an overview of how a student is progressing and lets students choose what to work on from their available modules. For more information about modules and the student Learning Map, see this article.
The modules are the main way that students access new content in the system, and the module page is where they interact with these. This page displays the module PDF, but also gives the students options relating to finding help, revising related content, and adding the completed module to their test.
Students have the option of selecting from a number of 'themes' for their Student Portal, to make it feel more personal. The 'Cave', and 'Forest' themes are shown below:
