For each of the learning skills listed here, we have used system data to point to a possible need for participation in a learning skill lesson. It is important that teachers verify the accuracy of this data through their own expert observations and adjust the student lists as required.
There is a strong correlation between poor workbook set-out and poor test results. A student who receives a accuracy score of below 70% on their last test is flagged by the system as a candidate for doing the Workbook lesson.
There is a correlation with the pace students work through modules and the need to develop processes around getting help. When students fail to look for an appropriate colleague to work with and does not watch any videos during a cycle of work, the system flags them as needing help with this executive skill.
Mistakes are good
