Your growth rate shows you the rate that you're mastering new modules in Maths Pathway. The more modules you master, the higher your growth rate will be.
A growth rate of 100% means that you will master one year's worth of maths over the year if you keep that growth rate. 200% means two year's worth of maths, 300% means three year's worth of maths, etc.
There are two different growth rates calculated by Maths Pathway:
- Growth Rate per Test
This is the growth rate that you see after completing a test. This is simply the result of the latest test that you've done. - Average Growth Rate
This is the average of all the growth rates from all the tests you've done.
Why might your growth rate not be high?
- Low effort: If you're not completing enough of your assigned modules, then your growth rate is affected.

- High effort, low accuracy: If you're achieving more than your assigned number of modules – so putting in a lot of effort – but having low accuracy on your tests, then your growth rate is affected.
